Black Friday

This is Ira Glass. He is host of the radio and television series This American Life. I do not form celebrity crushes, however, Ira Glass seems like he would be adorable and I am completely infatuated with him. I highly recommend tuning in to NPR to hear an episode and I pretty much grantee that you will become hooked too. You can also subscribe to the podcast or purchase individual episodes (which are one hour long) off i tunes for .95c. Do it!

Today, I also discovered that there are many singles cruises. My best friend and I are looking into going on one of these cruises this summer if we are both still single. While surfing the depths of the Internet, I came across some information at Crusingforlove.com. You can go to the Caribbean and meet attractive young singles. Does it get ANY better?

Also today, I registered for the Wilton cake decorating classes. Over the next four weeks, I am supposed to learn how to frost a cake, make roses, and come different borders. My decorating skills are bit to be desired so my hope is that this will help (despite how pathetic it sounds).

And another cool thing...


German Springerle molds. The molds are pressed into rolled cookie dough to make different prints. The molds are made from carved blocks or circles of wood and can be dated all the way to the 14th Century. They are pretty sweet!
